All about our data centre |
|
- Secure Data Centres - all your data is stored on
servers in secured data centres here in New Zealand. All centres have
authorised/restricted access only, fire prevention equipment and redundant
power/data circuits. Data servers are mirrored onto a second backup
site
- RAID Technology - each server utilises RAID 5 (Random
Array of Independent Disks) technology to ensure that your data is stored on 4
separate disks to ensure a comprehensive belt and braces backup solution
- Advanced Encryption - all data is stored in an
encrypted format and all communications between the client and server are
encrypted. Users can choose between DES, Triple-DES and Blowfish encryption
algorithms
- Tamper Proof Blocking - DataWorks is able "lock
down" certain functions on each DataWorks client. At any time, we can view
or change the settings that control the level of usage each installation is
offered. This could be used to prevent other users in your organisation from
changing backup schedules or changing file selections
