Doing a Backup
Performing a backup is easy, just follow the steps below.
- Decide which files are to be backed up and select them through a windows
explorer styled view. Usually, only “business-critical” data needs to be backed
up.
- Select what time you want the backups to happen. This can be once a day
after hours, when you shutdown, every 6 hours etc. You have complete control
over the schedule and can do extra backups at any time.
- The system does the rest. At your chosen time, the system will take a copy
of your files, compress them, encrypt them and send them to our offsite storage
facility.
It’s just set-and-forget.
- And in the event of a disaster, you select the files you need to recover,
the day you want to go back to, and press the ‘Restore now’ button.
- The system will bring the files back from our secure data centres to your
PC.
It really is that simple!
